Creativity, heat, time and gravity are the elements that combine to produce the exquisite fused glass creations of Dauphinais Glass. Catherine Dauphinais-Oba, formerly a clay artist, designs and creates unique, decorative and functional fused glass art. 

Catherine's fused glass creations are crafted with the finest art glass. The glass is cut into a design, assembled, and fired twice in a kiln.  The first firing fuses the design into one piece of glass.  The second firing bends the glass into a shape.  The end result is a beautiful piece of fused glass art.  Given the nature of handmade art, no two pieces will ever be the same. Each piece will have it's own unique variations.

Many of Catherine's designs are inspired by the natural beauty of Minnesota. She also has several contemporary designs.  

Catherine's studio is in her home in Minneapolis.
