Ohio sculptor George Carruth achieves detail unparalleled in the industry, which makes his work stand apart & desirable to collectors. He & his assistant each sculpt George's original copyrighted designs out of sculpey, a clay-like material, using a combination of hand-made tools & dental tools to work and shape the clay. George's designs are then handcast by assistants in stone and hand finished with a patina wash, which is used to accentuate the detail of each design. The quality of materials and casting allows his work to be displayed indoors & outdoors year round. Each plaque has a stainless steel wire for hanging and many can either hang or free stand.
